Technology Overview
Tooth decay is the number one chronic infectious disease among children in the U.S. Researchers at the University of Minnesota have developed a worksheet for parents, caregivers and social workers to better understand and remember helpful tips for taking care of their child’s teeth and mouth health. The worksheet is a one-page (front and back) document that outlines ways to care for a child’s oral health based on three stages: birth to 2 years, 2 to 5 years, and school age. This document was created by the UMN School of Dental Hygiene and the Adoption Medicine Clinic.
