Technology No. 20120137
IP Status: Pending US Patent; Application #: 16/461,222

This clone is a sub-clone of the well-defined DF-1 cells and is able to produce higher Marek's Disease Virus titers compared to the parental cell line. Marek's Disease Virus is a major poultry pathogen for which there is no known cure. The poultry industry needs a high titer vaccine for Marek's Disease Virus from a well characterized master seed stock in order to vaccinate billions of chickens produced annually.
