MRI Compatible Surgical Table
Fully Maneuverable MRI Compatible Surgical Table
The fully maneuverable Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) compatible surgical table is designed to accommodate both interventional procedures and MR imaging. It functions the same as a standalone surgical table, allowing flexion of the patient’s head, use of a head-holder, and patient positioning into reverse Trendelenburg while in the MR scanner bore. The table may also be rotated around its longitudinal access. The table will increase the number of procedures that are compatible with MR image guidance.

Allows MRI Guidance
A more maneuverable MRI compatible surgical table would allow more accurate imaging methods during sensitive surgical procedures. MRI is used extensively in diagnosing and treating countless health conditions. Modern medicine has moved to incorporate MRI with interventional treatments. MRI compatible tables have been developed, but they do not adequately permit interventional procedures in conjunction with MRI guidance. These efforts additionally did not permit patient positioning within the scanner.
BENEFITS OF MRI COMPATIBLE SURGICAL TABLE:
- Allows surgical procedures typically reserved to non-MRI environments, such as procedures requiring reverse Trendelenburg positioning.
- Enhanced MRI image guidance for procedures requiring high precision. Allows MRI image guidance during almost any surgical position.
- Compatible with a variety of MRI scanners.
