Dr. Kortshagen is a professor and the head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering. His interests focus on plasma processes for advanced technological applications and renewable energy technology. His research team is involved with:

  • Multi-phase Plasmas
  • Semiconductor Nanocrystals or Quantum Dots
  • 3rd Generation Solar Cells using Quantum Dots
