High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) Simulator

Researchers have developed a robust, high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) simulator. The simulator allows the user to see the effect of adjusting a range of experimental parameters on chromatographic parameters, such as retention time, column efficiency and backpressure.


Experiment with HPLC Separation Variables

In an HPLC experiment, there are so many variables under the operator's control that it is often difficult to get a feel for how each variable will affect a separation, especially due to their interrelatedness. The HPLC simulator offers a way for users to learn about and experiment with the fundamental principles of HPLC quickly and inexpensively. The simulator features controls and indicators for a wide variety of experimental parameters and displays a simulated graphical chromatogram.
